I have spent my career in some of the most demanding corporate environments in the world. As Head of IT PMO within an Fortune 250 Company, I have led complex programmes, navigated organisational change, and delivered results in an industry that leaves no room for anything less than excellence.
And yet, like so many women I know, I spent years watching brilliant, capable, extraordinary women — women who were the most talented people in the room — make themselves smaller. Qualify their sentences. Wait to be invited. Underestimate the value of everything they had already built.
I was one of them.
The idea for Brand Female Leadership did not come from a business plan or a market opportunity — though the market opportunity, it turns out, is enormous. It came from a question I could not stop asking: why do women who have everything still feel like they are not enough?
The answer I kept arriving at was the same. It was never about capability. It was about identity. About not fully owning your story. About not seeing yourself the way the room sees you at your best. About a rapidly changing world — particularly the rise of AI — that was moving fast and felt, to many women, like someone else’s territory.
So I built Brand Female Leadership. Not in a boardroom. Not with a team of consultants. I built it using AI — the very tool that so many women fear — whilst working full time in aerospace. In a single series of conversations, an entire company came to life. A purpose statement. A business case. An investor pitch. A content strategy. A mission.
That story is not a footnote. It is the point. It is the living proof of everything Brand stands for.
She already has everything she needs. I know that because I found it in myself. And Brand Female Leadership exists to help every ambitious woman find it in herself too.
